Do you want to make a difference in healthcare? We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute and become part of our team at Mölndal Hospital to support the healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

As a service worker with us, you will work with patient-related service and cleaning at Mölndal Hospital. You will meet many people in a job where a lot happens, but also handle meal management, orders, and final cleaning after patients have been discharged.

You will work closely with both healthcare staff and colleagues, where together you are an important part of our mission to create conditions for healthcare to function. The tasks are performed close to patients.

As a service worker, you will be part of a team where you will primarily work with:

Cleaning: Daily cleaning of a patient room, waiting room, and cleaning of examination rooms after patient visits, as well as other premises and areas in the hospital.
Meal and food management: Ordering and serving meals to patients, cleaning the department kitchen, and unpacking materials and restocking supplies.

The schedule includes both day, evening, and night shifts, covering both weekdays and weekends, according to a fixed schedule.

Qualifications

You have a basic education and possess basic IT skills; you can use a smartphone, tablet, email, and search for information online without any issues. Your knowledge of the Swedish language is good, allowing you to communicate with others and understand both verbal and written instructions. You have the physical ability to walk and stand throughout the workday, lift heavy objects, or perform repetitive tasks.

To be suitable for the position, you are service-oriented, have a good attitude, and enjoy helping others. You find it easy to collaborate and do not hesitate to assist your colleagues when needed. In a hospital, conditions can change rapidly, and new situations may arise, which means you will need to be flexible.

To quickly integrate into the job, we would like you to have previous experience in cleaning or meal service and have worked with people. You will receive the training and education needed for the tasks.
